Getting connected to Harvest starts with your attendance at our weekend service. Don’t just be a face in the crowd but rather interact with our leaders and members in a very informal manner as we meet and greet after service.

This is a great opportunity to start forming relationship with the people of Harvest.

Harvest Essentials occurs several times a year and exposes the participants to the Culture and DNA of Harvest.
This two-hours class will give you a solid understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.  It discusses the history of Harvest Bible Chapel, describes a disciple of Jesus Christ, explains our church government, what the Bible says about baptism, and the commitments of members of Harvest Bible Chapel.

Registration is required, so check our events page to see when the next one is or you can simply sign up at the Connections Desk to attend the next session.

Having completed Harvest Essentials, the prospective member will receive a membership application form. Once the application for membership is completed and turned in, a membership interview will be conducted. During this interview with one of our church leaders the prospective member shares their testimony of conversion to Christ and asks any remaining questions about the church.  The individual’s name is then placed in the bulletin for two weeks. If there are no concerns raised by other members of Harvest, the individual is officially welcomed in as a member at a weekend service.

It’s all about discipleship!  Small Groups are the best place to connect at Harvest if you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus. Plus, Small Groups are where the primary congregational care happens in our church with the Small Group leaders being our front line shepherds. In our church, this is where care and support happens. Our Small Groups are designed to help you develop significant relationships with others who can encourage and challenge you to consistently apply the truths of God’s Word to each area of your life. Small Groups are not “another thing” at Harvest; they are the main channel for discipleship and care for each person who is a part of the Harvest family.

At Harvest, we believe that every mature disciple does three things: Worship Christ, Walking with Christ and Work for Christ.  Working for Christ means that you are helping to shoulder weekly Kingdom responsibilities.  There are many areas where you can work for Christ.

We believe that Christian baptism by immersion in water is a public identification with Jesus Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. Although baptism is not required for salvation, it is commanded of all believers and is for believers only. Harvest does not baptize babies but we do perform child dedications.

Scripture shows that a person was baptized after personally receiving forgiveness of sin through accepting Jesus Christ.
